The name is a song, a pun, and a policy.
The song
A New Error is named after Moderat's “A New Error”, a track that sounds like a machine falling apart in the most beautiful way. It's the mood we want to work in: precise, a little unstable, and unafraid of what a mistake can turn into.
The pun
Say it out loud. A New Error. A New Era. Same sound, different meaning. That's the whole idea. Every error is a signal that something old stopped working, and it created an opening for something better to start.
Who's behind it
A New Error is the studio of Stefan Goian. Product, design and engineering happen in one place, by the same hands, so each app gets built with a single point of view.
What we build
Thoughtful, human-scale apps: tools for family life, reflection and play. Calm interfaces, real utility, and the glitch saved for the logo.
